coming to melbourne · founding members first

Nightlife, turned down to a warm hum.

a 3rd space built for connection, conversation and creativity.

side A · 33⅓ rpm

Modern nightlife is engineered to be loud, because noise sells drinks. We're building the opposite: a room tuned for listening, lit for lingering, and full of people you'll actually remember meeting.

Side A · The Space

Four rooms designed for connection.

A1The Listening Room

The Listening Room

Records and live sets on a properly built hi-fi system, at a volume you can still talk over. Albums played front to back, in the order someone chose, the way they were meant to be heard.

A2The Conversation Pits

The Conversation Pits

Low-lit, sunken, circular seating that turns people toward each other instead of toward a bar. Built so joining a conversation is easy, and arriving on your own is a normal way to arrive.

A3The Studio

The Studio

Paint, write, jam. Materials, instruments and room to make something, with people who are doing the same. By day it doubles as a creative workspace for members who want the club as home base, from first coffee to last record.

A4The Rewired Bar

The Rewired Bar

Rare teas, adaptogens and alcohol-free cocktails that still feel like an occasion, plus a short low-alcohol list for anyone who wants one. Something good to hold all night that won't cost you tomorrow.

Side B · The Programming

Every week has a rhythm.

Nights designed so you never have to break the ice alone. Come for the format, stay for the people.

The Pressings · Membership

Priced at under a quarter of one night out. Good for all seven.

Same room, same records, same people. The only difference is how often you want to be in it.

The First Pressing

Help us press it, and it's yours first.

There's no room yet. That's the point of this list. If ninety-nine people tell us they'll come, we go and find it. Nothing to pay today, and when the room is real we'll come back to you in order.

  • You register below. No card, no deposit, twenty seconds.
  • Enough of you say yes, so we find the room and sign the lease.
  • We come to the list in order. You confirm, or you walk. No hard feelings.
  • Ninety-nine confirm. Then the founding rate closes for good.

Liner notes

Fair questions.

Does it exist yet?

Not yet. We're testing whether enough people want it before we commit to a lease. This list is how we find out, so every name genuinely counts.

Where will it be?

Melbourne. We haven't chosen the room, and we won't until the list tells us this is worth building. Founding members hear where before anyone else.

What if it never opens?

Then you've lost nothing. Nothing is charged until you confirm, and if you'd like your details deleted, we'll do it the same day.

Is it alcohol-free?

Mostly. There's a short low-alcohol list next to the teas, adaptogens and alcohol-free cocktails. We're not anti-drinking. Alcohol just isn't the point.

Can I come on my own?

That's who we're building it for. Every night is hosted, and the rooms are designed so arriving alone is a normal way to arrive.

Can I come without joining?

Yes. Guest entry will be $33 a night, and members get guest passes to bring friends.

How does billing work?

Monthly, once we open. Pause or cancel any time. The first 33 founding members to confirm keep their rate for as long as they stay members. The next 66 keep it for two years.
